The Habitat is the latest housing development project by Lumex, involving the construction of 134 luxury apartments in Canterbury, NSW. This is the latest in luxury-living, created by award-winning designers Turners, plus tradesmen and craftsmen from a variety of disciplines.
At just 9.5km from the Sydney CBD, Canterbury combines the lively ambience of the Inner West, while Habitat Canterbury offers seamless city convenience and expansive Sydney views.

At the development site in Canterbury, Andrew Taylor Sales and Marketing Manager for Lumex had a vision to create a working showroom worthy of housing development project of this scale. To make this vison a reality he needed to engage a signage company to work with his designers and tradesmen to create the ideal showroom for Habitat Canterbury.
“I did my research, and with their reputation for quality and service, I knew BannerSHOP would be able to help us”, said Andrew Taylor “so we contracted them to provide us initially with just with 3 billboards and an outdoor mesh banner, just to see how they would perform”.
Being satisfied with quality, price and service on the billboards and mesh banner, Andrew then commissioned BannerSHOP to fit-out the entire Habitat Canterbury showroom.
“The reason that BannerSHOP won the whole contract was the fact that they under-promised, and over-delivered… apart from great pricing they never failed to deliver a quality product on time.” said Andrew.
BannerSHOP then started on completing project, which required producing over 155m2 of photo-quality self-adhesive vinyl panels, 10 acrylic panels 6mm thick (of approx. 2m2 in size each), plus a giant 4.4 metre by 2.6 metre backlit vinyl banner.

Everything was on time, and on budget.
“Our BannerSHOP Account Manager has been great, following up on any issue involving production or delivery, even to the point of suggesting changes, which I appreciate” Said Andrew. “The original photo quality of the backlight banner wasn’t great, our Account Manager picked this up and we had another photo taken. The result was worth the effort”.

“The guys at BannerSHOP are great, the time and effort spent on the project showed me that for them this wasn’t just-another-job, even the Installation Team came back out afterwards to make sure that the products still looked great, and even helped me fix a small accident that happened after the initial installation”, said Andrew.
“We will be using BannerSHOP again, that’s for sure”.
